About this film
A raccoon and goat raiding a persimmon tree draw attacks from a cruel wolf until village animals, led by a monkey's collapsing bridge across the river, drive him into the current. Yasuji Murata's 1931 Ministry of Education silent cartoon adapts the animal-village fable in eleven minutes of cutout animation.
