About this film
Retainer Yoshichiro Kamiya wins a castle-ground sumo tournament, then struts past townspeople without returning their bows and quarrels with a daimyo's guards. Denied his reward at the ceremony of honors, he learns the Ministry of Education lesson that martial skill without courtesy brings shame. Hakuzan Kimura's 1933 silent jidaigeki cartoon runs eleven minutes.
