Plot

During World War I, master thief Michael Lanyard, known as 'The Lone Wolf,' is recruited by Allied intelligence to undertake a dangerous mission behind enemy lines. He must steal a cylinder containing vital military secrets from German headquarters and deliver it to Allied command. Complicating his mission is the fact that the German agent leading the opposition is the same man responsible for his sister's death, giving Lanyard a personal stake in the outcome. As he navigates through German territory using various disguises and his criminal skills, Lanyard faces numerous obstacles, including capture, interrogation, and betrayal. Along the way, he encounters and falls for Cecilia Brooke, who becomes both an ally and potential complication to his mission. The film culminates in a thrilling confrontation as Lanyard must outwit his enemies, secure the cylinder, and exact revenge for his sister's death while helping the Allied cause.
